We would love to have you join our dynamic team of demand planners. As a Senior Demand Planner , you (along with your peers) would own the demand forecast for BIC's North American division. Your analytical chops and ability to work cross-functionally would be a great asset to the Demand Planning team and our ever-growing company!
What You'll Do:
Lead monthly IBP/S&OP process for assigned category
Process large amounts of data and deliver a concise recommendation.
Communicate at various organizational levels and back-up thoughts with facts.
Reviewing system generated statistical forecast for account level item inconsistencies and adjusting across the planning horizon by utilizing customer prior shipments, POS data, knowledge of market trends
Problem solving the highest causes of error by researching error, determining root cause and driving for improvement
Projects You'll Work On:
Support Demand CoE projects for forecast improvement (eg FVA), delivering required strategic improvements and maintaining aligned demand processes
Lead Demand Planning projects related to consumption & event-based forecasting
Work on projects to integrate new tools Anaplan, Blue yonder etc.
Work on inventory related project driven by integrated KPIs
What You'll Have:
You have a Bachelors degree or significant related experience in demand planning
You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Demand Planning
You are an individual that is strong at math and has excellent analytical skills
You preferably have worked in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry
You are comfortable in working with large data sets
You are good at adapting to different IT systems and are particularly advanced in Excel (pivots, lookups, formulas)
Experience using JDA/Blue Yonder, Manugistics; PowerBI, or syndicated sales data (IRI or Nielsen) is preferred
Seeking an independent thinker/autonomous worker; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
