The Customer Logistics is responsible for account management and maintenance of orders to ensure successful processing; as well as answering phone calls and email inquiries. The Customer Logistics is tasked with ensuring the satisfaction of the customer with the fill rate, service level and OTIF.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure EDI orders are coming through successfully and accurately, using complete knowledge of systems.

  • Work closely with Sales regarding price discrepancies

  • Proactively resolve product availability issues to ensure the highest fill rate possible.

  • Work closely with Distribution regarding additional specifics needed to fill backorders.

  • Utilize department reports to service customers’ needs and meet on time and fill rate goals

  • Deduction management of compliance penalties, reviewing deductions for validity and disputing as necessary

  • Process Return Goods Authorizations

  • Expedite orders as required.

  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree a plus

  • Minimum of two years of related experience

  • Strong work ethic and sense of urgency

  • Excellent Communications Skills

  • Strong research and analytical skills

  • Strong customer service skills and desire to ensure our customers’ needs are met with the highest service possible.

  • EDI Experience required

  • Knowledge of JDE a plus
