Job Description

As a Traficc Analyst, you'll be responsible to coordinate and execute all the export operational and administrative activities within planning, warehouse, production, finance, external customers, and suppliers in order to ensure timely deliveries of the internal and external customer orders, complying with the national and international legal requirements.

What You’ll Do:

  • Execute national and international daily tasks between national and international suppliers, agencies, freight forwarders, government ministries to ensure all the Import/Exports goods are Customs cleared and delivered to the final site on legal and timely manner.

  • Analyze the bill of materials of the export finish goods to determinate origin criteria in order to issue individual or annual Export Certificate of origin based on the rules of origin of each Free Trade Agreement.

  • Processes accurate information with Government ministries to obtain import licenses and hazardous materials authorizations with Shipping Lines for import/export effective operation.

  • Monitor the purchase orders of international clients with planning, warehouse, production to schedule the date of export shipment based on the date requested by the customer.

  • Manage all customer purchase orders and ship according to priorities and available inventory.

  • Generate export documents, such as: Correct cubic capacity, packing list, export invoices, dangerous goods, letter of instructions, etc., to request the correct equipment for export and customs clearance.

  • Coordinate shipping and documentary control of samples. (shipments by FedEx-DHL, UPS, etc).

  • Control the full process of the Bills of Expenses from the Logistic Suppliers in order to ask for the correct payment. (Receive bills, validate them, generate purchase orders), & integrate the legal file of import-export.

Projects You’ll Work On:

  • Validate to the custom brokers the correct amount of import taxes.

  • Validate the payment of entry and export summary of imports/export.

  • Contact with government agencies/ministries for import and export documents authorizations and permits.

  • Responsible for several detailed information for tariff classification of BIC products, such as: raw material, finished goods, components, machines and tools.

  • Consultant in case of non-standard import/export related situations.

  • Identify opportunities during the logistics process to propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Delivering on time original documents to our Customers.

  • Evaluate the service level of the logistic suppliers such as: forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and internal clients towards continuous improvement

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ Bachelor of International Trade, International Business, International Relations, Traffic and Logistics.

  • 3 years of experience working in Export.

  • International Free Trade Agreements.

  • Legal requirements.

  • VUCEM.

  • Incoterms.

  • CTPAT.

  • Harmonized Tariff codes.

  • Other Qualifications:

  • English level: Advanced (Writing and Speaking).

  • Good negotiation skills

  • Result oriented

  • Analytical

  • Organized

  • Teamwork
