As an Associate Plant Controller in Charlotte, NC you will be a business partner with our Charlotte packaging and warehouse facilities, ensure financial deliverable requirements are met, and support continuous improvement of financial processes and tools. This is a dynamic and extremely hands-on finance role.
In this role You will:
Offer a clear view of Charlotte operations performance in the US to key stakeholders, providing analysis and insight around variances (actuals vs. budget by cost drivers: activity, mix, productivity, costs, etc.)
Deliver a wide range of business insight to support data driven decision-making and strategic decisions on current business and new projects
Challenge performance and provide recommendations for cost-saving strategies to meet targets and improve performance
Support development of annual operating plan and financial forecasts
Month-end closing journal entries for expenses
Reporting of Finished Goods produced and activity
Development of product standard costs in JDE ERP system
Monthly KPIs, Expense and Inventory Reports
Partner with operations to ensure accurate labor routers in JDE
Completion of standard and ad hoc financial reporting, to include variance analyses and explanations
What You'll Bring to BIC:
Bachelor’s degree required in quantitative-related field
1-3 years of accounting or finance experience or fresh graduate with internships background
An understanding of cost accounting
Experience working in finance or accounting in a manufacturing setting is preferred
Excellent analytical, problem-solving abilities, communication, and presentation skills
Aptitude to succeed in a high-paced and results-oriented environment
MS Excel: Intermediate MS Excel skills (tables, pivot tables, lookups) required; advanced skills (dynamic arrays, PowerQuery, VBA) is a plus
JDE, HFM, Power BI is a plus
